Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted by Priscilla Shirer

What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! This Bible study redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God’s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city.

1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ by Jen Wilkin

Peter, a man of faith and flaws and an eyewitness to the life of Christ, challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. In 1 Peter, he share concerns about big picture issues for the early believers, reminding them of the living hope they have in Christ. Peter describes our true identity as believers and points us to humility and submission. Walk through 1 Peter with Jen Wilkin in this 9-session, video-driven Bible study with daily study questions.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Women's Reflective Retreat

October 13 | 9:00 am-1:30 pm

cost: $25 | continental breakfast and box lunch included | click here to register

Women and young ladies (high school and older) are invited to join us for a time to be still and uniquely experience God apart from the busyness and distractions of life.

The practice of solitude and silence is one of the most valuable disciplines in our personal path to being formed into the image of Christ. As Ruth Haley Barton says in her book, Pursuing God’s Will Together, “…spiritual disciplines are concrete activities that we engage in in order to make ourselves available for the work that only God can do. While we cannot transform ourselves into the image of God, we can create the conditions in which spiritual transformation can take place.”

Please join us for this morning which we set apart for quiet reflection and prayer.
