Gideon: Your weakness - God's Strength by Priscilla Shirer

When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or a fleece spread beneath the evening sky. But Gideon’s story is so much bigger than that. This is a story about God and His people—His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of, even through, their weakness.

This study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, learn to see them as the gifts given specifically and strategically by God. If you’ve ever felt insufficient, ill-equipped, incompetent, or outnumbered, this study is for you.

Church History for Newbies: finding our Christian roots

Many of us know about the New Testament Church. But what happened between then and our church today? Why do we believe and practice what we do? Why are there so many variations of Christianity? In this series, each week we will look at the next section of church history and then focus on a key person of that era. Hear inspiring stories of faith heroes shared by faithful guest speakers. Church art and music through history, powerful Scriptures impacting our heroes, and the faithfulness of God through history will also be featured.

Jeremiah: Daring to Hope in an Unstable World by Melissa Spoelstra

This study offers us encouragement and help for navigating the uncertainties and challenges of life. By examining God’s words of instruction to His wayward people through the prophet Jeremiah, we will discover six guidelines for living that can help us overcome fear, worry, doubt and bitterness as we surrender our wills to God and put our hope in Him alone. Combining rich study of the Book of Jeremiah with practical life application that resonates with today’s women, this study inspires every woman to find God’s promise of hope for her life and circumstances.
