Village Schools of the Bible | The End Times in Today's News

Love Somalia is a relief collaborative of faith-based communities working together to help the hunger problem in Somalia. Join the efforts as thousands of volunteers work together with Feed My Starving Children to pack millions of meals. Valleyfair | 6th grade move-up
June 15 | open to all 6th-12th graders (class of 2017) | 1:00-9:00 pm | cost $30
This is the first event open to our new 6th graders! Meet at church at 1:00 pm and head to Valleyfair! Bring extra money for one meal at Valleyfair. We will return to the church at 10:00 pm. This is a great event to get to know each other and/or to bring a friend!
Missions Road Trip
June 18-26 | 8th-class of 2017 | cost $325
We are partnering with the South Asian Friendship Center (safcchicago.com) in Chicago to minister to Hindi and Islamic families on the north side of Chicago. The Pancake breakfast (June 4) is a fundraiser for the trip and is required for those going on the trip. Training day is Monday, June 12.

Pinterest Days is all about connecting and getting elementary aged kids together over the summer. If you’ve met our Kids’ Pastor, Sara Galligan, you know how much she loves to use Pinterest! She wants to invite your elementary kids to join her in playing awesome games, doing fun projects and making something cool in the kitchen! Please bring a packed lunch each day.
Tubing on the River
July 6 | 6th grade-class of 2017 | 11:30 am-7:30 pm | cost $15 | Welch Mill
We will beat the heat of summer by chilling in the river! Bring money for dinner on the way home (Chick-fil-A). Bring plenty of sunscreen, a water bottle, towel and your church-appropriate swimwear (Guys - no visible underwear, Girls - modest tankini or one-piece). You may also want to wear some hiking sandals or other waterproof footwear for the short hikes in and out of the river and/or the shuttle ride.

Through a variety of crafts, songs and other fun activities preschoolers will learn about how we are all uniquely and wonderfully made by God! Join us for a fun week discovering how God made us to know Him, love Him and trust Him!

Men's Golf Outing
July 15 | Lunch at 12:00pm | Shotgun Start at 1:00pm
We are excited about the annual Wayzata Men of Action Golf Outing, held this year at Pheasant Acres Golf Club. This year’s entry fee is $65 per player. If you register before June 30, the cost is $60 per player. For players 21 years of age and under, the registration is $35 per person. Come join us for fellowship, friendly competition, and hopefully some sun!
July 17-22 | 7th-9th grade | cost $150
AWOL (A Work Of Love) is our summer missions experience at Maple Hill Estates, a mobile home community in Corcoran, MN. Each year, we live on site in campers, put on a morning VBS and spend the afternoon playing with kids from the community. In the evenings, we head off-site with the older kids from the community for a fun event as a part of our ESCAPE program of peer outreach. AWOL training day is MANDATORY and is Monday, July 10.
August 10 | 6th grade-class of 2017 | 6:00-10:00 pm | free
Come and play outdoor night games and enjoy a bonfire at Baker Park’s Lake Katrina group site. We will meet at the site, play some games and then have a bonfire and cook some s’mores. No need to register, just show up.
