PRAYER

A praying church is humble, desperate, and hopeful in prayer, with a focus on worshipping Jesus Christ and praying Kingdom-minded prayers. The transforming work of the Holy Spirit comes through powerful prayers. We desire to be a church where prayer is at the center of our corporate life.

How much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!  - Luke 11

PRAYER FORCE

We desire prayer to be at the center of our corporate life as a church so we are developing a Prayer Force within our church to pray for all that God wants to do in us as His Church. Our initial goal was to have 120 people as part of this Prayer Force and we have now exceeded that goal! Each week we send an e-mail to all members of the Prayer Force with our focused prayer for the week. We also encourage the members of the Prayer Force to attend our corporate prayer times.

Gateway Prayer Ministry

The Gateway Prayer Ministry is a ministry that was designed by our Lead Pastor Kevin Meyer, that is set on a foundation of transformational prayer that will restore, cleanse, encourage, free and empower you to live the way God intended. To find out more about this ministry or to schedule an appointment please check out the website: gatewayprayerministry.com.

DRIVE-THRU Prayer

We began holding Drive Thru Prayer in May of 2017 as a way to reach out to the over 100,000 cars that pass by our church weekly.  We wanted a way to pray for people who may never come through our doors, but who are willing to stay in their car and ask for prayer.  We didn't know what to expect, but after offering this 2x per year, we usually have over 100 people who drive in, some with tears in their eyes before they even begin to talk about prayer.  It's people on their way to work or school, delivery drivers, bus drivers, kids on bikes, people walking by and even some people who pass by only to turn around further down the road because something draws them back.

We would love to talk to you more about the hows or things we have learned over the years.  Please feel free to email at andrea.hebeisen@wayzatafree.org
