We encourage men and women at Wayzata Free to connect, have fun and grow in their faith. It is our desire to see people of all ages encouraged and challenged in their faith journeys. For programs and events for both men and women, please visit our community page

UPCOMING EVENTS

Virtual Run/Walk Training Program (5k and 10k)

begins Tuesday, April 7 (11 weeks)

no cost | click here to register

Walkers and runners of ALL ages and abilities are invited to join Team Perseverance for our 7th year of training together - only this year we will begin training together virtually!  While we aren't currently able to meet as a large group, we still have the opportunity to get outside, exercise and build community (through a private Facebook group and the GroupMe app).

Each week will include spiritual and physical training elements to both encourage and challenge you.

Training programs for 5K walkers and runners, and 10K runners will be provided.

There is no cost to join, but please click here to register.  You will receive a team t-shirt to wear while you train, and we hope to be able to wear them as a group for the Music in Plymouth 5K on June 20 (more details to follow as things develop).

Upon registration you will be given further details on how to join our online community.

We hope you'll join us, and we encourage you to invite others to be part of our virtual team!

If you have any questions, please contact Tina Hoversten.

2020 Vision: Walking by the Spirit

Gal 5:25 "Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit"

It is easy to meander through life without regard to the Spirit's direction in our lives. You might say our vision is limited and we're missing out on all that God has for us. What does it mean to "walk by the Spirit" and to "keep in step" with His direction in our lives?

Our time together will feature speakers (including Chase Headrick and Scott Randall), who will encourage us to consider what it means to walk by the Spirit through their testimonies of being led by the Spirit.  We'll have time for fellowship (small groups), some much needed recreation time (including basketball, volleyball, etc.) and powerful worship (with Tyler Whyte and team)!

Cost:

$95 Age 26+ ($85 Earlybird Registration by April 5 - use promo code EARLYBIRD)

$55  Ages 18-25 ($45 Earlybird Registration by April 5 - use promo code EARLYBIRD)

Regular registration deadline is April 22.

Dorm-style housing with towel and linens provided.

Includes supper on Friday (6:00 pm), breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

We'll be done by 3:00 pm for you to get home by dinner on Saturday!

Scholarship requests for the retreat can be emailed to irv.tang@wayzatafree.org.
