Middle School and High School can be a great time of life. Especially when fun is combined with living for Christ. We want Middle and High School students to be fully engaged in the life of the church at Wayzata Free as they grow into becoming adults by serving and attending worship. 


+ Summer Youth Group | 6:30 - 8:00 pm

These gatherings are a great time of fun activities, and growing in relationships with each other and with God.

Middle School and High School Youth Group is a time where we focus on community building and growing deeper in our faith through a variety of ways including games, worship, teaching and small groups. Bekah, Joey, and a team of excellent volunteer leaders love to build relationships with students and invest in their lives! We are focused on creating an experience that keeps students safe, helps them have fun, and allows them to experience Jesus.

Events

+ Beach Day

July 28 | 11:00 - 4:00 pm | Cost: FREE

Join us for a day at the beach! Bring your own packed lunch - we will provide cold drinks and treats! Wear or bring your swimsuit and a towel. If swimming isn't your thing, come to hang out or play some of the yard games we'll bring. Please register so we have an idea of how many drinks and treats to bring! Location TBD.

+Tubing on the River

August 22 | 12:00 - 8:00 pm | Cost: $15

Open to 6th graders-class of 2021. We are going to beat the heat of summer by chilling in the river at Welch Mill! Bring money for dinner on the way home (Raising Cane's). Bring sunscreen, a water bottle, towel and your church-appropriate swimwear (guys - no visible underwear, girls - modest tankini or one-piece.) You may also want to wear some hiking sandals or other waterproof footwear for the short hikes in and out of the river and/or the shuttle ride. Welch Mill does have changing rooms so you do not need to wear your swimsuit. Meet at church at 12:00pm and we will be back around 8:00pm.
